The Short Version: We don't care who you are.

1. Data Collection

We don't have user accounts. We don't have a newsletter layout designed to spam your inbox. We look at basic analytics (like what pages are popular) to see if people actually read our benchmarking data.

2. Cookies & Affiliates

When you click a link to a provider and buy a server, a cookie is placed in your browser. This tells the provider we sent you, and they send us a small commission. That's how we pay for the dozens of mock servers we rent every month to keep the benchmarking data fresh. If you hate this, you can disable cookies in your browser or just type the URL manually.

3. Contacting Us

If you email us, we will have your email address. We use it to hit "Reply." We do not add it to a database to sell it to debt collectors.
